Introduction

A fashion photographer works with beauty and innovation, capturing the essence of high-quality products while connecting with new people and establishing exciting personal and professional relationships. The job allows for travel—Milan, Paris, London, New York—and provides a platform for creative expression and experimentation with new techniques and technologies. However, it is also a demanding profession with challenging schedules, heavy equipment, and constant learning. Fashion photographers must manage client expectations, handle unpredictable weather during outdoor shoots, and solve logistical issues such as model or wardrobe delays. Despite these challenges, working as a fashion photographer is both exciting and rewarding!

Technical Fundamentals

• Using light modifiers (softboxes, umbrellas, beauty dishes, reflectors)

Model Direction

• Effective communication with models
• Basic and advanced fashion posing techniques
• Expressions and body language for fashion photography

Post-Production

• Image selection and organization workflow
• Basic retouching in Photoshop/Lightroom specific to fashion
• Color correction and developing a personal style

Professional Aspects

• Creating a professional portfolio
• Collaboration with stylists, makeup artists, and hairstylists

Course Details

• Start and End Date: September 1 - September 30
• Duration: 2 weeks (40 hours)
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, choice between 09:30 – 13:00 or 15:30 – 19:00
• Location: Sami Frashëri Street, Metropol Center, Tirana
• Admission Requirements: Minimum age of 18 years
• Certification: The issued certificate is accredited by the Ministry of Economy, Culture, and Innovation of Albania and is recognized in the job market.
