3D modeling is transforming the fashion industry by offering designers the ability to visualize garments in realistic digital form before they are physically produced. This approach significantly reduces prototyping costs, accelerates the design process, and promotes sustainability by minimizing material waste.

Our Intensive Summer Course in 3D Fashion is designed for aspiring fashion professionals eager to explore the essential tools of digital fashion. In just two weeks, you’ll gain hands-on experience in 3D software and learn how to bring digital fashion concepts to life.

Course Objectives

• Create and simulate garments on digital avatars.
• Understand the physics of fabrics in virtual environments.
• Develop a mini-collection using 3D tools.
• Present professional 3D fashion designs and animations.

Program Overview

Week 1 – Introduction to 3D Fashion and Design Fundamentals

• Introduction to 3D modeling software (CLO 3D, Marvelous Designer, Blender).
• Navigating the interface and mastering essential tools.
• Creating and customizing a 3D avatar with accurate measurements.
• Fundamentals of digital pattern making and garment construction.
• Designing basic garments: T-shirts, skirts, and trousers.

Week 2 – Textiles, Simulations, and Digital Collection Presentation

• Simulating textiles and adjusting fabric properties (weight, elasticity, rigidity).
• Creating dynamic garment animations.
• Applying digital textures, prints, and detailed garment elements (buttons, zippers, stitching).
• Assembling and presenting a mini digital collection in 3D.

• Duration: 2 weeks (40 hours)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Morning session: 09:30 – 13:00
  • Afternoon session: 15:30 – 19:00
• Location: Street Sami Frashëri, Metropol Center, Tirana, Albania
• Languages: Albanian and English

Admission Requirements

This course is ideal for:

Eligibility: Minimum age 18 years. Basic design knowledge is recommended.

Certification

Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive an official Certificate accredited by the Ministry of Economy, Culture, and Innovation of Albania, recognized in the job market and by fashion institutions.
